3rd Annual Challenge of Color Blog Hop Reveal!

My Process:  Waited until the last minute. Date Started:  29 November 2012 Date Finished:  29 Nov 2012, 1am The Challenge: Erin Prais-Hintz sent two random and completely different palettes from the curated pool of 40  that Brandi Hussey created inspired by the USGS Earth As Art landsat images. Here are the images I was to chose from: Each participant was asked to choose which palette you would like to use .   I chose the top pallet called Parana River Delta. Create an accessory of your choice that evokes the colors and patterns.  Any accessory is applicable.  Art beads are encouraged, but are not required.  I was not required to buy anything new, so I used up some of my stash. Due to time constraints, I went went with earrings.  I used the Vintaj Patinas on metal disks and added tiny lampwork rondelles.  Not bad. Mark Your Calendars: Blog Hop on Friday, November 30th.  Please share your palette(s) and your creation. Share your design process. Or wha

Beads of Courage !  The theme was laughter.  I agonized over this for several days before I buckled down and made the charms above.  I just used beautiful art beads from my collection, crystals, and a shrink art charm.  This was my first foray into art charms.  After I mailed them out to our wonderful hostess, I began to think about other things I could have done.  Oh well, maybe next time.  I cannot remember where all of the art beads came from, but I do know some came from Juli Cannon of Julsbeads , Carolyn Harmon, Miami Valley Lampwork Bead Association , Janel Goolsby/ JeraLunaDesigns , and a few artists with Ebay shops.  Thank you Jennifer for introducing me to a fun project and a wonderful charity. These are the charms I received: List of Parti
