Creative Color Challenge: Springtime

Bonnie of Jasper's Gems has decided to make her challenges monthly. Therefore, April's challenge will be Springtime, using this picture for inspiration. Tell your jewelry designer friends and visit her blog for details. Below are some other creations inspired by the colors in this photo:  Thank you Bonnie for hosting a wonderful Springtime challenge!

Creative Color Challenge: Tangerine Tango

Bonnie, of the blog Jasper's Gems , sent out a challenge to jewelry designers to design something using Pantone's Color of the Year :  Tangerine Tango .   Stop by her blog to see what those who took up the challenge came up with!  My entry was also the one I completed for Michelle Mach's Suddenly Spring Challenge.  At the time I did "Sun & Sky", I didn't know anything about Pantone's colors of the year!

Wrapped, Stacked & Layered

Tracy Slater Designs is sponsoring the Wrapped, Stacked & Layered bracelet challenge.  If I did this right, click on the stack of bracelets on the right and it will direct you to the challenge blog.  If not, click here .  I am looking forward to participating in the challenge, as well as blog hopping for the reveal!

What Should I Call This Bracelet?

I finished this bracelet a while back, but I am not totally happy with the design.  The daggers flop around alot.  But what I love is how the picture turned out.  The bracelet was made with light gray swarovski pearls, crystal clear crystals, matte silver seed beads, and silver/grayish peacock daggers.  It looks like a black and white photo.

SUDDENLY SPRING CHALLENGE!

This set was made for the Suddenly Spring Challenge sponsored by Michelle Mach .  Each participant in the challenge received a bracelet with aquamarine rondelles as well as rhinestone rondelles (see my Jan 24 post). When I think of spring, I think green.  However, I didn't have anything in my stash that complimented the aquamarine except for the orange ceramic beads and some orange cane glass beads.  I also used brass findings.  So this spring piece is titled Sun and Sky. The focal beads were from one of the Jesse James Design Elements or Inspirations bead sets.  Thank you Michelle for providing the inspiration for the challenge!
