My Process: Waited until the last minute.
Date Started: 29 November 2012
Date Finished: 29 Nov 2012, 1am
The Challenge:
- Erin Prais-Hintz sent two random and completely different palettes from the curated pool of 40 that Brandi Hussey created inspired by the USGS Earth As Art landsat images.
- Here are the images I was to chose from:
- Each participant was asked to choose which palette you would like to use.
- I chose the top pallet called Parana River Delta.
- Create an accessory of your choice that evokes the colors and patterns. Any accessory is applicable. Art beads are encouraged, but are not required. I was not required to buy anything new, so I used up some of my stash.
- Due to time constraints, I went went with earrings. I used the Vintaj Patinas on metal disks and added tiny lampwork rondelles. Not bad.
- Mark Your Calendars: Blog Hop on Friday, November 30th. Please share your palette(s) and your creation. Share your design process. Or what inspired you about this process.
- OMG...So soon!
- Above all, have fun! This is not meant to stress you out. If you are not having fun, you aren't doing it right. ;-)
- Here are my ear rings all completed:
Thank you Erin for hosting the challenge/blog hop and Brandi for the inspiration pallets! Now, don't forget to visit the other participant blogs to see the pallets they chose as well as their designs.

You've inspired me to work with the Vintaj patinas...if I can get the results you did, I'll be soooo happy!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty earrings. Love the colors in your palettes. I haven't been able to get any satisfying results with my Vintaj patinas, yet. Maybe I haven't practiced enough, but your's are great.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful patina work! Thanks to you, Vintaj stock just probably went up! I want to try them, too!
ReplyDeleteRenetha, I guess your life's like mine. Crazy busy! But despite it all, you finished a fabulous set of very "in-style" ear rings! Great job! I like the patina job you did. Never have tried that yet. Guess I have something else to add to my "want to do list"! And Thanks for stopping by my blog.
