Art Bead Scene: April 2013 Challenge Inspiration--Painting by Claude Monet

Monet is one of my favorite artists.  His art made an impression on me during my college years.  I most admire the fact that he continued to paint as his eyesight was failing.  You can see his art progress from clear impressionist expression and light colors to darker, blurred and use of brighter colors.  Especially seen in his garden series.  Simply amazing.

This month's Art Bead Scene challenge pallet is full of wonderful spring-like colors.  It was hard to chose just a few to work with.  However, I went through my bead stash and found a wonderful focal bead by Alexandra95062.  She sells her beads (Ebay) in sets and none of them are the same color. 

The bead I chose looks like someone swirled their fingers through the wet paint of challenge colors!  I just added a spiral rope using some bead soup which had all of the pallet colors.  How cool is that?
